It would have been impossible for us to go on tour without any instruments. Luckily, Amazon sells bright red ukuleles for about $20. Meet Wellington, the Duke of Ukuleles.

Brendan and I are mostly taking trains from place to place this summer. By far the most interesting leg will be from Amsterdam to Berlin.

It will be overnight.

We will arrive in Berlin at 4:30 AM.

4:30 in the morning in a strange city we can handle. Sleeping in the top row of a submarine like sleeping compartment (because, of course we got the top row)? That's another story.

day 2: city day! will we see Dublin Castle? Trinity College? the Guinness Storehouse?
